I've posted a series of five articles I found in the 3 January 2003
"Science" magazine about Globular Clusters on my new website at
http://www.hays.darkhorizons.org/ (click on the "Articles" link). [Now I
won't have to pester Richard Crisp to put the astronomy articles I find
up on his website any more.] My friend who subscribes to "Science" was
kind enough to use subscriber status to go online and get pdf versions
of the 5 articles for me, so we have high resolution for these ones.
Unfortunately, my son/webmaster hasn't figured out how to get them open
and viewable on the webpage, so you'll have to download each of the five
pages to read them. It should be worth it, however: these are really
fascinating (and scholarly) articles.
I also found and have posted on my site a brief summary regarding the
Milky Way Ring discovery from the 10 January 2003 "Science," as well as
brief notes on NASA's choosing a site for next year's Mars landing,
distant white dwarfs as an "archive" of the milky way's age, the tests
confirming gravity's speed, and launch problems for the European Comet
Probe from the 17 January 2003 "Science." Please disregard the second
(duplicate) Mars Landing link: it's erroneously connected to the second
page of the Gravity article. I guess virtual construction is no less
subject to punch lists than the brick and mortar type.
