Many digital cameras have a timer setting or can use a remote control. I use
the remote on mine, which is an Olympus.

It looks like this weekend is going to have good weather and I would like
to goto MB on Sat. night. I'm new to the group and have never been there
so, will need a permit holder. I've been in CA for about 2.5 years now
and have just dusted off my scope and started to get back into this hobby.

I just ordered the scopetronix 40mm eyepiece that accepts the screw
adapter for my digital camera. It seems the moon is fine but with Saturn and
Jupiter I get too much bounce when hitting the button to take the picture.
I've just order the remote cable to control the camera so hopefully the
pictures will come out better. Does anyone have any adive on how to
limit this shake? The cope is a Meade LX10 8" SCT.
