This was my thought exactly, except that I think you are being far too
conservative. I can't imagine anything less than 1000 people taking
the bait at $100 per ticket. Or many thousands buying $50 tickets.
Shoot...there would be people buying $50 tickets who aren't even
interested in Astronomy! But do you think they will get $100,000 for
the high bid? I think they blew it big time.
