Meifong and I joined the group at MB. As mentioned the darkness increased and seeing got better as the night worn on. A thick marine layer settled in over San Jose. Around 1:30 we were able to do a little deep DSO observing. We tried to identify some of the nebula structure in and around M33 and pick up a few galaxies in the area using the 17.5 TD. By the time we got done Orion was high enough to get are first good view of M42 for this season.
