Completely OT...
You know, there are times when I think Astronomers just make life hard on themselves when it comes to outreach. Wouldn't it be a friendlier science if instead of Olympus Mons, we had names like "Bob's Mountain", and instead of Mare Acidalium, we had "Betty's Valley".
Just a silly labour day thought. :-)
