Annie Jump was stolen last night. Jo looked out the window this
morning and said, "Jamie,the van's gone."
Why anyone would want to steal an '85 Toyota van is beyond me. She
has 226,000 miles on her. A secret goal has been to take the van to
the Moon; she has
12,000 miles to go.
According to the police, a sizable percentage of the car thefts in
this area are joyriders, so there's a chance of recovery. If you see
a copper-colored Toyota van with Annie Jump in big black letters on
the left side, do call (831) 422-2812.
Thankfully there were no optics inside. My big coat, bibs, observing
chair and table were however in the back. I can't help but hope some
idiot tries to use the observing chair for a marital aid, the carnage
would implicitly add to this past week's thread.
