Dennis Steele asked yesterday:
"I can get the directions from the TAC website about getting there,
but once there, will it be obvious where the observing takes place.
What time will you folks arrive?"
The directions on the TAC site are vivid and exact. Dennis, once you
cross the cattleguard you're almost there. Up the hill around the
bend and you'll see the big lot. The bristling telescopes will be a
giveaway.
Somebody always seems to arrive early. I'll be there toward 7. If you
do arrive after sunset, do dim your lights before you turn into the
gate. Remind me. Walk on in, say howdy and several cordial people
will direct you in. If you're really new to observing, Bill Arnett
etiquette page is a good read, esp Jay Freeman's ending paragraph.

The tarantulas aren't due at Coe till spring, and the cougar only
likes to visit solitary observers. Bill Schultz has the full story.
See you there.
...and Jason, you can get help collimating.
Clear skies,
