    Rich,

I did the Zeiss/Baaderbinoviewer collimation with the new pair of
Lapides' eyepiece holders last night. I attached them while observing
Jupiter and the Io transit. I didn't need a cross-hair eyepiece to do it
as per the instructions from A-P. Using a pair of 10mm Abbe's (400x), it
was easy to loosen up the right-side eyepiece holder, move it a little
to do the collimation (with Jupiter in view), and then tighten up the
eyepiece holder. The new eyepiece holders work well. The excellent
seeing last night also helped with testing the left-side focusing
    eyepiece holder on the bino.

Have you attached your eyepiece holders, yet?
