Can't make it up to MB but I did observe on my deck last night and will
again tonight. The full moon doesn't keep me inside a bit when it's so
comfortable outside after sunset. The seeing last night was outstanding
here near the ocean in Monterey--a rarety. The air above was so still
that Sirius and all the other visible 1st mag stars didn't have a
twinkle. I was able to observe Jupiter and Saturn very clearly above
400x with my 10" Mak-Cass. Double stars all split beautifully with nice
even diffraction patterns that didn't waver. What a night! Is this
winter?
