Looking for feedback on the Disc. RFT-90

    Here is my off/on/over/under topic question.

    I have a friend that is looking for a inexpensive first scope for himself
    and his kids. He is resistant to the plethora of inexpensive Dobs out
    there, although I am going to get him out to a star party and hopefully
    change his mind, and I seem to remember that someone on this list picked up
    one of the Discovery RFT 90's over the summer.

    Is there any chance we could get a review of how the scope performed, how
    stable the tripod/mount is etc.

    Don't reply privately...anything is better than all of the rancor lately
    (BIG GRIN).
