I thought Bigdog was just that: a place for observers

That's a great suggestion, Bruce. Thanks for reminding us.
But it does seem that occasionally that policy-type
discussions can and do arise and other than the stress
level it creates while underway, it's probably a healthy
thing for the group to identify and work out issues.
