A couple of weeks ago I posted a link to a
first-light image I had taken of M33 through my
new (to me) Tak FSQ106. The night the image was
taken had a lot of moon and there was also a lot
    of humidity.

Over the past two evenings, I have managed to take
the necessary components to create another M33
image. This one was taken using the Extender-Q
focal length extender so as to better fill the
frame of the ST7E CCD Camera.

I'm happy to say that this image is better than
the first one. By the way, the reason I was
watching the weather so closely the past two
nights is because I was working on this puppy.

M33 is like a jewel-box full of color! Jim
Feldhouse had mentioned to me that there were
several nice nebulae in M33 and one (in the lower
left of the image, near the edge) is like an M33's
    Orion Nebula.

I'm rather enjoying the backyard imaging. Nice to
be able to go inside and warm up while those
hour-long images are exposing. Now if I can just
automate it like Ray Gralak has done, then I can
    actually sleep at night!
