Gee Rich,
Another great image! What type of mount are you using?

I too did some backyard observing last night. Phil Terzian and James
Turley joined
my in my new backyard in Castro Valley and I managed to snag IC1795 in the
"new to
me" FSQ106.
The conditions were good last night: clear but a little cold. The seeing
was not
great, but was good enough to have a good time out. I did notice the moon
showing
some instability when it rose after 1am.
None of us had observed IC1795 until last night. I ran across it recently
when I
had been exploring "The Sky's" multimedia database for suitable widefield
targets.
Its deep rifts and nearby proximity to NGC896 and othets seemed to make it
more
interesting than a lot of nebulae I've been exploring lately.
It also fit well in the field of view presented to my ST7E from the
FSQ106. If you
consult "The Night Sky Viewers Guide", there is a nice widefield image of
this
object and some others nearby.
I shot and LRGB image as well as a false color LRGB image using DeepSky as
L,
Halpha as Red, OIII as Green and Hbeta as Blue. It is the latter for which
I am
posting a link

I rather like this object and will probably shoot it again sometime.
I agree with Mark, it is amazing what you can do in the backyard. And,
yes, I left
the scope set up for hopefully another good session tonight.
