Stainless Counterweights for G-11 & GM-8

I recently did a project with my cousin who has a CNC machine shop. We did
some counterweight shafts for the Mountain Instruments MI-250. One size
accepts Astro-Physics weights for the 900-1200 mounts. Another size fits
weights for the G-11 and GM-8. This all started with my frustration of
having to slide 50 lbs of weights on a threaded shaft and have to hold them
in place while I screw the retaining nut on. I feared for my toes.

Anyway, as we were talking he asked about the weights. We started thinking
about doing a bunch of stainless steel counterweights that fit the G-11 and
GM-8 shafts. They would be roughly based on the Astro-Physics weights with
some style differences -- rounded edges instead of bevels and a slightly
different brass locking pin under the thumb screw. They would have bronze
bushings.

So, the point of this message is: how much interest is there is such
counterweights?

I was thinking of doing some in the 9-10 lb. range and some in the 16-17 lb.
range. I don't have accurate price estimates but it looks like they would be
somewhere in the $75 to $100 range.

Any interest?
