Mark Wagner,

This is completely off topic. I am a friend of Ivor's. I have not been
able to go to the impromptu star parties as I have just had spinal cord
surgery. The reason I am writing this email is that I am rather new at the
hobby and am having problems. I have my scope setup in the backyard in my
observatory and have several issue's that I can not resolve, one being
collimation. Do you know of anyone that could come over and help me. I
would just go to a star party and ask for help there however I can not even
drive and bending over a scope for any length of time is too painful for me
to do. Please let me know...I live near SFO...

Thanks,

Eric Ayres

I hoped you and other would. I like the fact that there is now a place
where TACos can go for as detailed discussions as are desired for the
highly technical aspects of imaging and photography. My expectation is
that this will grow into the premier group of its type on the net, due to
the talent, good conditions we have in this area, and toys people around
here own.

The only thing I hope is that the images are not kept on Yahoo, if Yahoo
requires an account to view them.

Otherwise, this is a big step forward for bay area imaging!

Mark
