I just wanted to wish everyone a very happy, safe, prosperous, healthy and very many nights of clear, steady viewing New Year in 2002. Each of you in some way has contributed to my growth as a person and astronomer. There are no words that really can express my thanks to you for your guidance, mentorship and friendship.
To keep this on topic I wish to share with you all my observing/astro-related goals for 2002:
1) Finish my Messier list
2) Finish my astronomy game (very analog - not at all for computers)
3) Help my niece in Colorado become the excellent astronomer that is waiting to come out
4) Continue to have fun with astronomy (which probably should be number 1)
5) Start on a very cool but top secret astronomy related project that I dreamt about. (If I tell you at this point, I'll have to confiscate your telescopes.)
6) Post more observing reports no matter how innane they sound to me ;-)
