The Saguaro Astro Club (http://www.saguaroastro.org/) has an excellent
list of doubles. Try a Yahoo search, there are other sites with lists as
well. The AL has a list online:

    http://www.astroleague.org/al/obsclubs/dblstar/dblstar2.html

Rigel is a good test not because of the separation but more because of
    the widely differing magnitudes.

You can always try Sirius, but that'll be more a test of your veracity
than of the scope's quality. <g>

    Cheers,
