Thank's Akkana for the exelent review and photos you
privided on you're website of the Mac. Weight and
portobility is important for me, so I think I order
this little Mack. I'm not lookin for a TeleView here.
I have an 80mm f/7, bought used about a year ago, I
don't know what brand, label say "Made in Japan" and
it's white,it has a screw on metal dewshild.
Flocked the inside, collimated the optics, changed the
shims in the lens-spacing, because I was getting lot
of flares on bright objects. It's pritty good now, I
can use 180-200x magnification on a good seeing night.
It splits the double-double also, (allmost).
I think the fellow who sold it to me try to use it as
a guider on his SCT, but it's just too heavy for that
purpose. He even paint the outside Meade blue. It was
flaking, so I removed the paint.

Thanks Julius
