I am planning on Coe on Sat also. Jay is right, the fog has been rolling
over the western hills every night.

Dont forget that a few days ago Bruce Prickett posted that:

Just a heads-up: I'm working on bringing people from the Math-Science
Nucleus Astronomy group up to Coe on 7/22 to see the comet. I called the
rangers, they said the over-flow parking lot will be open. We will
probably
only a few cars, so there will be plenty of room for everyone.
-----
I will be comet hunting also.
