Alternative Power was ...battery/ inverter capacity

Inverters are available from several sources. Fry's has them as do auto
parts stores. Buy.com probably has them. Go for a 300 watt inverter. It'll
cost you $20 more but will be well worth it. There's nothing worse than
plugging in your new laptop and not being able to have enough power.

So do Dodge Caravans.... as I just discovered...

I don't want to use the car battery with an inverter, so I'm planning on
using gel cells. However, I'm looking for a recommendation on where to get
an inexpensive inverter to convert the gel cell's 12v output to 110v for the
purpose of charging my laptop battery.
