3rd quarter Saturday -- potluck planning

I think the only way we should really proceed with a pot-luck is based on
the weather conditions about late morning to mid-day Saturday. If it
looks chauncy, scrap it and just go for the observing. If it looks
promising, we should post so on this list and proceed. We should also all
have either a tailgate or portable table upon which to place our goodies.

How does that sound?
