Known as "voting with your dollars" and it is effective. And really, what
are people doing? Simply reacting to a new set of circumstances, which
has resulted in the realization that for many of us, the other options
offer better results. The administration at the Peak can do whatever they
want, IMO. I would prefer things returned to what worked for so many
years, but that decision is not mine to make. That does not mean I should
be silent about it, nor do I hear anyone making demands of the park
officials. Some people feel no compelling reason to do anything.... as
might be the case for hose who routinely set up by the observatory, since
nothing that has occured at the Peak over the past year has impacted them.

Just as another data point, I know from personal conversations with
rangers at other parks, they know about what took place at the Peak... and
understand why people left. That opinion was shared with me without my
bringing the subject up... I was asked a leading question that was
intended to get that topic of conversation started.

The ranger's talk. Everyone knows what's what. I think we should keep
stuffing the pay envelopes at Coe.
