I've rolled out the 20" Starmaster onto the driveway to see if I can get
a glimpse of anything thru this freezing cold and breezy air up here in
Medford, Oregon. At least it's not foggy. To my surprise, Jupiter is
showing a fair amount of detail at times between the blur. Io's
transiting and its little black shadow is right on target being located
in the GRS as they both move across Jupiters face. What a show for the
last night of 1999! Get out and see this.
