I am not impressed with it-this will be the third time back to JMI.
Furthermore, it has no provisions for changing or fine tuning tracking speed
(well, not easily that it)
and no provisions for changing DEC motor speed or torque. It has on
occasion not tracked at all or has stopped right in the middle of a CCD
shot. It is finicky but of course JMI found it to be perfect. I usually
have to reset it at least once during the course of an evening They offered
explanations like perhaps Byers made my 18" gear with 583 or 585 teeth and
not 584! I will not post what Ed Byers thought of this! It tracks great in
RA just plugged into the outlet.

Perhaps Vogal Enterprises (1-800-457-8725) and or Opti Craft
(1-810-476-5893) can offer something. Not sure if Vogal is still around.

There are ones out there but they are for stepper motors only.

A friend of mine made one that works great (torque and speed adjustments and
fine tuning for RA speed) but he is using it for another project at the
moment.
