A dream, or fever, or?

No, Mark. The dream was about my moving back to CA this spring. Sorry you've
got he flu. Hope you're getting better, soon. Jupiter and Saturn are still
above your house nightly watching over you.

Karen and I had a successful trip down to Monterey over the Christmas
holiday. We spent the entire week looking for a rental house to live in and
an office for me to do my work. We found a 1,000 sq. ft. house in Monterey
and a 200 sq. ft. office in Pacific Grove for me to work in. I should be able
to bike ride down the hill and along the beach to the office over in PG most
of the week. It's really going to be a test for us to live in a 50 year old
1,000 sq. ft. house with a one-car garage for all the storage (all my scopes
and stuff). But, for one year, it'll be worth it while we plan our next move
to a purchased house in the same area. We'll have to get rid of things 'big
time' up here to move into such a small space. We will rent during 2001 and
watch the neighboring house prices fall during 2001 before we buy a house in
the Monterey/Pacific Grove area. Although I'm losing this beautiful 2.2 acre
farm with space to spare and dark skies (only half the year), I'm looking
foreward to moving to Monterey with all it's marine life and year'round clear
skies. I'm also excited to rejoin the TAC group for all the impromtu star
parties anytime/anywhere. The Medford valley hasn't allowed me to observe
much after summer ended back in October. Most nights are foggy, sub-freezing,
and/or cloudy. I've pretty much packed up everything until the move in late
February.

Happy New Year and Great Observing to All in 2001!
