The TeleVuePronto is in that range, and built very solidly. 70mm aperture,
colour correction is fair.
The WYO Megrez 80mm and 100mm are $529 and $1000
resp. from Anacortes. WWW.buytelescopes.com
Probably on par with the Pronto as far as build
quality goes, perhaps slightly better colour correction.
