good short tube portable?

The Tak small refractors (60mm and 78mm) are highly rated, but built
like tanks and thus heavy. They are also pricey.

I own a Pronto, which is a good all-round performer but isn't apo by a
long shot. The TV-85 is a wonderful scope but probably about $300-$400
more than your budget.
