I set up my scope last night here in Santa Clara for a quick look at
Jupiter and Saturn. Sirius was only scintillating a little, so I decided
to test the seeing. As far as the planets were concerned, I thought the
seeing was pretty good -- plenty of ring detail on Saturn and Jupiter's
South Equatorial Belt's "split"was razor-sharp. Not the best I've seen,
but certainly better than most nights this past week.
