MB seeing 12/28/00..poor

Strange.... Last night in my backyard in E San Jose, I had the best views
of Jupiter yet. GRS clearly visible and for the first time, the lower large
cloud band was "split" into finer detail (150x).

Can seeing conditions vary within a few miles of each other? I know the
other night when I had first asked about the poor Christmas eve seeing,
someone in Oakland had an excellent night?

Still learning :)
